Happy Quarter-Century to Me

Pookie joined me for my birthday weekend this year, and I'll be forever grateful for her company. We took the overnight bus up to Chiang Mai Friday night, arrived at our guesthouse around 7:30am, the ChiangMai Adventure van picked us up at 8:30, and we were off! Rode ATVs all morning, then went white water rafting in the afternoon. Northern style Thai food in the evening at a really cool little restaurant, and then our first holiday Starbucks drinks for the season while we enjoyed the night bazaar. Woke up early Sunday morning to hop on a songthaew to the airport, and landed at Don Muang Airport at 9:30am. We napped most of the day, then headed to church in the evening (where Pastor Stewart was pleased to see that I hadn't skipped church for my birthday). After church a few friends joined me at Wine Connection for some yummy food and delicious wine.
